The Ooze is a monthly underground electronic music party that started in 2015 and focuses on showcasing a variety of unique styles of electronic music. It has taken place at a variety of venues in Boston and has lately settled into a monthly routine at Zuzu in Cambridge, MA. 

Here is how the promoter describes the event in her 2018 profile in Boston Voyager:

“I wanted to create a party that doesn’t throw a bunch of the same sounding acts on the lineup or forces people into sets based on when they’re playing. I book a few different acts each month, all with a different sound and build the line up based upon what they typically play. I allow people full creative control with what they do with their hour set. And people [seem] to really dig it.”
